SOLUTION CONSULTANT
Role Overview

Arete EPM Solution Consultants design and build high-impact planning and performance management solutions for our clients. This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, with a strong emphasis on model building within modern EPM platforms, while working closely with Solution Architects and client stakeholders.

You will translate business and finance requirements into scalable, intuitive models that support real decision-making across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Build and configure enterprise planning models (budgets, forecasts, workforce, revenue, reporting)

  • Translate business and finance requirements into technical model designs

  • Design calculations, hierarchies, and multi-dimensional model structures

  • Review existing customer models and business processes to identify improvements

  • Integrate customer data and support data integration testing

  • Support testing, validation, performance tuning, and deployment

  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and project teams throughout implementation

  • Provide end-user support, training, and post-go-live enhancements

  • Follow Arete EPM implementation methodology and modeling best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred)

  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in Excel and model-driven thinking

  • Comfortable working with technology and learning new platforms

  • Knowledge of multi-dimensional modeling concepts

  • Strong communication and client-facing skills

  • Prior EPM platform experience (Anaplan, Jedox, Pigment, etc.) is a plus
